Very beautiful set of maps, in an early edition. Apparently the last edtion done by Mitchell (first just two years earlier). Great historic interest throughout, as America (and the rest of the world) were in especially rapid flux at this time. Early plans of New York and other cities are of special note, along with state and country maps.
