This is a very important document of Lotte Jacobi's personal interest in the Weimar Berlin stage. Here she is busy photographing the rehearsals for Walter Mehring's "The Merchant of Berlin," capturing the set designer Moholy-Nagy together with Alex Strasser, who made the images to be projected on the back wall, and the fellow photographer Reissmann. Hidden behind the camera is artist Paul Urban. A wonderful and scarce image from Weimar Berlin.
