For this eighth edition, the material has been revised more completely than for any previous edition. In addition to the 16 architects who served on the Office Practice Committee during the period of re-writing the Handbook, 95 other architects (including the Executive Director and staff) and 18 laypeople collaborated in this effort. As a result of this cooperation, the Handbook became the official voice of the Institute in the areas covered.
