In 1958, Western Air Lines entered into a contract with Joint Venture for the design of an underground fueling system at the new Los Angeles International Airport. Later Western Air Lines indicated that they would also desire additional proposals and estimated costs for a fixed 400 cycle AC electrical system, a fixed air starting system, and an intercom system. The designs, descriptions and estimated costs of all four systems are presented in this report. Paul Williams also designed the theme building of LAX. An incredibly scarce document.
