The Dutch Boy's Hobby: A Paint Book for Girls and Boys.
New York: National Lead Co., 1926. Original edition. Staplebound Wraps. Oblong 24mo (4.5" x 5.5"), pp. 8 for painting, plus a page with water-activated paint on it, and "Painting Protective and Decorative," pp. 6 for "father or mother to read." Very Good. Item #23937
This is pretty charming! It's a small coloring book for children in the front, and a painting tutorial in the back. Each page of the coloring book shows an image in color and the same image in b/w so that the child can use the color image as a guide. The painting tutorial gives advice on selecting exterior and exterior colors. Scarce! Only three copies in institutional libraries survive.
