The illustrations include brass and bronze; cabinet furniture; carpets; ecclesiastical furniture, vessels, and ornaments; glass - cut, colored and ornamental; gold and silver; interior decorations; iron and steel work; marble, granite, etc.; print patterns; stained glass windows; terra cotta; and much more. The author was state director of the Massachusetts School of Design.
