A photographic homage to English and Irish stucco-work, and the last book by author Anthony Ayscough, who passed away in a road accident during Christmas week, 1939, at the age of 29. He was a talented photographer with an immense appetite for all the pleasures of literature and architecture, and he traveled a great deal in Europe.
