The Architectural Association School in London, founded in 1847, is the oldest private school of architecture in the UK. This year book contains essays by various faculty members at the A.A. School, on topics such as architectural education, the study of planning, and color. The designs include a chapel, a concert hall, several churches, a jeweler's and silversmith's shop, a riverside cottage, a monastery, a repertory theater, an office building, a sculptor's studio and house, and much more. A very nice collector's item from this period.
