Based on the Historic Preservation Act of 1966, New York set about to put the infrastructure in place to oversee preservation projects in a systematic fashion. One of the results is this survey manual, which ultimately served as an example of how to manage the stewardship of such work. Very detailed, good survey format. From the library of Architectural Historian Daniel Reiff.
