This was the first English book to describe and illustrate the tools of various trades and explain their use from the point of view of the practitioner. Includes chapters on smithing, joinery, housecarpentry, the art of turning, bricklayer's work, and "mechanic dyalling" (drawing a true sundial). A very nice reprint of an early edition of this important work.
