Philadelphia: 1974. Cloth over Boards. Very Good in Very Good DJ. Item #21458

Addison Hutton was a Philadelphia architect who designed prominent residences in Philadelphia and its suburbs, plus courthouses, hospitals, and libraries. Written by Hutton's granddaughter, to the advantage of the reader, as she had long and person acquaintance with her subject, and a wealth of documentary material with which to supplement and reinforce her recollections. This biography should hold considerable appeal for those interested in the Quaker community of Philadelphia as well as all those attracted to Victorian architecture.
