London: W. & C. Johnson, 1899. Original edition. Staplebound Wraps. 16mo, pp. 23. Very Good; some soiling and pencil inscriptions on the cover, cover detached. Item #20711
W. & C. Johnson participated in a building trades exhibition held in the Royal Agricultural Hall in London in May of 1899, and this catalog was distributed there. They offered imported mahogany from Honduras and Nicaragua; oak, black walnut, pine, and whitewood from the United States; birch and teak. In addition to boards, logs and planks, they carried newels, flooring, doors, mouldings, sashes, and venetian blind laths. A flooring calculation table in the catalog assured that customers ordered the correct amount for their job. Desirable and scarce.
