The purpose of this text book is to help educate young men to be first-class journeymen house painters and decorators. Its scope is purposely limited, knowing that what a first-class journeyman should know and be able to do are absolutely necessary to success later on. No attempt is made to teach advanced painting subjects, to teach special branches such as sign painting or ornamental design, nor general business information needed by a contractor. All these things come logically after attaining the skills of a good journeyman. An interesting title, still relevant despite modern paint formulations and techniques. This is the first time we are offering this scarce title.
