This title constitutes the second volume of the Library of Architectural Documents, but is complete in itself. The other volumes examine different subjects. This is also a very large book, which is excellent when examining the really minute details of a particular entablature. If you're studying Roman architecture, and you feel like you're just about to get a hang of the aesthetic sensibility, this book is indispensable.
