These books document a series of projects from material loaned by the Essex County Vocational and Technical High School in Newark, NJ. They are intended to be used by journeymen brickmasons selected to teach, and by those teacher/trainers who will supervise and assist them. Section I contains 25 projects, Section II contains projects 26 to 57, and Section III contains the teacher's version of the 57 projects. Some sample projects are a Flemish bond wall, a small house chimney, a gauged brick jack arch, and concrete footings. From the Old House Journal Library.
