In his short time as head of the city expansion office in Munich, the architect Theodor Fischer laid a fundamental basis for the further urban development of the city of Munich between 1893 and 1901 in planning and design terms. In more than 400 plans, Fischer defined streets and public spaces that still characterize many parts of the city today. This book aims to catalog the plans and their extent in the city area of the past and present, and document them by means of new photographs in their current context.
