Kleines Deutsches Reise-ABC; Los oyentes del Pequeno ABC Aleman emprenden un viaje a Alemania.
(Berlin): Deutschen Kurzwellensender, 1939. First edition. Original Illustrated Wraps. 12 mo (5 3/4 X 8 1/4), illustrated with colored drawings. Very Good. Item #1868
Extremely scarce WWII document, printed to teach Spanish-speaking tourists German. It was a text which was coordinated with a German curriculum that was taught over the radio! The instructor was one Fraeulein Ursula Micke and it would appear that this was a Teutonic version of "Radio Free Europe" for language instruction. The hope was to attract tourists to Berlin. This is a book which would not have been publishable a short time later!
