This is a photograph of the east side of St. Margaret's Church in Norfolk, UK. This is a nearly intact Norman church, and has been designated by English Heritage as a Grade I listed building. The photograph was made with a large format camera on 5x7 film. The negative was printed by hand by the photographer in his darkroom on traditional papers. The photographer, Conrad Marvin, is widely exhibited, and his photographs reside in numerous collections. He studied at Ansel Adams' workshop, and credits Adams as a major influence on his work.
