German Propaganda Poster: Jewish Figure Grinds Soldiers into Coins.

Unknown Russia 1942 21" x 33.5" color poster, stored flat. "D.R./1942" printed on lower right corner.
This is a scarce German anti-Jewish and anti-U.S. propaganda poster from the Nazi occupation of Russia in the early 1940s. This image is similar to that of a propaganda handbill that was dropped from aircraft over western Russian territory. The poster depicts a caricatured Jewish businessman dropping soldiers from different countries into a meat-grinder, from which issues gold coins printed with dollar signs ($). The text reads, "In whose interests is modern war? The Jewish interest." This poster was stored folded in half down the middle for many years, preserving its colors and condition.
