[Arts & Crafts Style]. Marek, Don (text) and Stephen Gray (ed.).

Limbert's Arts & Crafts Furniture Booklet No. 112 and Book No. 119.

Turn of the Century Editions New York 1990 Octavo, pp. 208. Illustrated with b/w photos and drawings.
A revised edition of the publisher's reprint of two catalogs from a midwestern manufacturer of "Dutch Arts and Crafts" furniture. This edition adds material from a rare 1905 Limbert catalog and a supplement from the 19111 Catalogue 14, with seven beautiful lamps. Limbert's work was influenced by Charles Rennie Mackintosh's designs and style, and in turn, played a role in the evolution of the Mission style of furniture. From the Old House Journal Reference Library.
