The Art of Office Buildings: Sullivan's Wainwright and the St. Louis Real Estate Boom.

John D. Randall Springfield, IL 1972 Quarto, pp. 132. Illustrated with b/w drawings and photos. Order form for the book laid in.
An in-depth look at St. Louis' downtown skyscrapers and office buildings, created as part of a campagn to save the Wainwright Building, a late- nineteenth century building designed by Louis Sullivan and Dankmar Adler. It is one of the first skyscrapers built in the U.S. This is a self-published volume by AIA architect Randall, and an interesting contribution to the literature on early skyscrapers. Rare.
