[Pattern Book]. Stickley, Gustav.

Craftsman Homes Architecture and Furnishings of the American Arts and Crafts Movement

Dover Publications, Inc New York 1979 Octavo, pp. 205, hundreds of illustrations (line drawings of floor plans, halftones).
Stickley was a major spokesman for the Arts & Crafts movement and this is a very good reflection of that. As much a book of philosophy as a pattern book: Stickley not only presents hundreds of floorplans, but in each house style, also makes suggestions for interior decoration and landscaping. With unique bungalows, cement houses, Craftsmen fireplaces (Stickley also published "The Craftsman," an Arts & Crafts Bible), a unique period piece.
