[Gorvett]. Gorvett, Don.

Manufactory Shoreline (i.e. Tarr & Wonson Copper Paint Manufactory, Gloucester).

Hand printed by Gorvett, in 9 colors Gorvett's Studio, Portsmouth, 2008 colored woodcut, using the reduction method (Multi-color reduction woodcut is the process whereby all of the colors are printed from a single plank of wood. Throughout the cutting and printing method the woodblock slowly loses its surface and one gradually works in smaller areas of each new color. The result is a buildup of velvety-thick textures and tones. Up to three or four months of steady work is needed for a large woodcut.)
