(German Aristocracy) Single lot of 12 postcards of Prussian and Bavarian Aristocracy.
pre 1914
3.5" x 5.5", 12 postcards, presumably pre-1914 (since none of the military officers are wearing Iron Crosses, which weren't awarded until battles of WWI). With images of von Hindenburg, Wilhelm, Crown Prince Wilhelm (in a Brunswick Hussars Hat), Princess Celine, Crown Prince Rupprecht and Princess of Bavaria, Franz Josef (after 1908 but pre 1914).
A nice lot of chromolithograph cards, in beautiful coloration and with the men in full military regalia, including all medals awarded to date (which allows for fairly accurate dating of the images, as none had Iron crosses at this time, including the then obscure Hindenburg, who did not become famous until Tannenburg). Uncommon to find such a single lot.
